After Registration

Coaches will use GroupMe to communicate with parents/players. Once your child has been assigned to a team you will receive a link to the group.
Practices are 45 to 90 minutes twice a week; depending on the age of the team
- Days/times are at the discretion of the coach
Regular games are on Saturdays;
- make-up games may be rescheduled during the week, usually during a regular practice time;
- on rare occasions games might need to be played on other days of the week.
Schedules will be available one week before the first game of the season.
- Games can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before game time;
- it is the parent's responsibility to keep in touch with your team's message group, and to check the team's schedule.
- All MSC schedules will be linked to this website.
Each team is responsible for covering the concession stand on the assigned days.
- There should be three adults working the concession together; players can help their parents; but they are not counted as one of the adults. Players must be 12 or older to handle money.
Soccer is a TEAM sport; therefore players must attend team practices on a regular basis.
- We know things come up; if your child must miss a practice or game please notify your child's coach as soon as possible.
- Soccer is a team sport:
- players must learn their positions
- mids rely on their forwards;
- goalies rely on defenders; and successful teams learn to respect and rely on every player on their team.
- If a player misses a practice, he/she may not play the first half of the game; this allows the player to observe new plays he/she missed.
- Players who dont make a pra ctice that week may not play the entire game; especially if we have a full roster.
MSC supports the decisions of our coaches. If your child does not start a game, or plays a different position than normal, the coach has a reason for the decision. If you do not agree with the coach, the procedure is:
- Step 1: politely discuss it with your child's coach or assistant coach; not during a practice, and NEVER before, during, or after a game.
- Step 2: ask what YOU can do to help your child; or if your child is not respecting the coach or other players;
- Step 3: offer to help the coach; sometimes a different perspective makes things clearer;
- Step 4: email mannfordyouthsoccerclub@gmail.com for advice;
- Step 4: volunteer to coach, or assist next season
Our coaches are volunteers;
- they are here for their children AND yours;
- they have families, other responsibilities, and jobs;
- PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE HUMAN!

Profile Pictures and Birth Certificates

Clubs are required to pay the fees for players, teams, and coaches to GCSA, OSA, GotSport, and US Soccer before games begin.

Player fees will not be paid until 50% of their total have been paid.

Fall practices begin in August; games begin in September; players will be removed from game rosters on October 2nd until the remaining balance is paid in full.

Spring practices begin in February; games begin in March; players will be removed from game rosters on April 2nd until the remaining balance is paid in full.

New and returning players must have an updated headshot photo every season; pictures need to be uploaded to the player's GotSport profile.

New players must have a copy of his/her birth certificate uploaded asap; returning players do not need to upload another copy.

Uniforms must be purchased in person at Soccer USA in Tulsa; pictures of the uniform, and directions to Soccer USA are located under the Uniform/Fan Gear.

Once you receive a text confirming your child's jersey number, then the uniform can be purchased .

Players MUST have the full uniform by the first game.
