Coaches will use GroupMe to communicate with parents/players. Once your child has been assigned to a team you will receive a link to the group.
Practices are 45 to 90 minutes twice a week; depending on the age of the team
- Days/times are at the discretion of the coach
Regular games are on Saturdays;
- make-up games may be rescheduled during the week, usually during a regular practice time;
- on rare occasions games might need to be played on other days of the week.
Schedules will be available one week before the first game of the season.
- Games can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before game time;
- it is the parent's responsibility to keep in touch with your team's message group, and to check the team's schedule.
- All MSC schedules will be linked to this website.
Each team is responsible for covering the concession stand on the assigned days.
- There should be three adults working the concession together; players can help their parents; but they are not counted as one of the adults. Players must be 12 or older to handle money.
Soccer is a TEAM sport; therefore players must attend team practices on a regular basis.
- We know things come up; if your child must miss a practice or game please notify your child's coach as soon as possible.
- Soccer is a team sport:
- players must learn their positions
- mids rely on their forwards;
- goalies rely on defenders; and successful teams learn to respect and rely on every player on their team.
- If a player misses a practice, he/she may not play the first half of the game; this allows the player to observe new plays he/she missed.
- Players who dont make a pra ctice that week may not play the entire game; especially if we have a full roster.
MSC supports the decisions of our coaches. If your child does not start a game, or plays a different position than normal, the coach has a reason for the decision. If you do not agree with the coach, the procedure is:
- Step 1: politely discuss it with your child's coach or assistant coach; not during a practice, and NEVER before, during, or after a game.
- Step 2: ask what YOU can do to help your child; or if your child is not respecting the coach or other players;
- Step 3: offer to help the coach; sometimes a different perspective makes things clearer;
- Step 4: email mannfordyouthsoccerclub@gmail.com for advice;
- Step 4: volunteer to coach, or assist next season

- they are here for their children AND yours;
- they have families, other responsibilities, and jobs;

The uniform set below is our official club uniform.
Players MUST have the correct uniform for every game.
Gray jerseys are typically used for away games; blue for home; however often times we have to switch. Both jerseys MUST be taken to every game. Only players with the correct jersey will be allowed to play.

Registration fees can be paid through CashApp: $Mannfordsoccerclub; cash; or check, made out to MSC. We do accept the following payment plans;

Balances from prior seasons must be paid in full before registration is approved.

Uniforms must be purchased at Soccer USA, in Tulsa, by the first of September; they are approximately $95; and not included in the registration fee.

Fall Registration Payment Schedule:

25% of the total and the $20 concession deposit: 1st day of practice;

75% of the total by Sept 15th;

100% of the fees: Oct 15th;

Late Registration is $130 + the $20 refundable concession deposit.

Clubs are required to pay the players, teams, and coaches fees to GCSA, OSA, GotSport, and US Soccer before games begin. The club will not pay a player's fees until we have received 50% of the total.

Games begin in September; players will be removed from game rosters on October 15th until the remaining balance is paid in full.

Preferred payment method is CashApp: $Mannfordsoccerclub; we also accept cash; and checks made out to MSC.

Refunds are not available after August 5th.

Once your coach gives the ok, uniforms must be purchased in person at Soccer USA in Tulsa; pictures of the uniform, and directions to Soccer USA are located under the Uniform/Fan Gear on MSC's website: Mannfordsoccer.org

If your child's uniform still fits from last seson; you will only need to purchase new socks; we will have them available at the concession. Your coach will let you knolw when they will be available.

The uniform set includes the home jersey, away jersey, game shorts, and game socks; the cost is approximately $98. Once players have the uniform set they will not need to purchase another one until they have outgrown it; so your child may use it for several seasons. Once you receive a text confirming your child's jersey number, then you can purchase the unifrom. Players MUST have the full uniform by the first game.

New and returning players must have an updated picture for the 2023-2024 season; pictures need to be uploaded to your child's GotSport profile.

New players must have a copy of his/her birth certificate uploaded by August 5th; returning players do not need to upload another copy.

Teams will be formed as registrations are received; coaches assigned/confirmed; then player rosters will be given to the coaches. Players will be notified of there team no later than July 30th; practices will begin the first week of August; games begin the first part of September.

Coaches will let parents know when the mandatory parent meeting is scheduled.

All players will need:

soccer cleats, shinguards, the correct size soccer ball, and PLENTY of WATER at every practice! We have a variety of cleats and shin guards for players to use.

Size 5 Ball: U14, U16, U19

New players may not purchase uniforms until a confirmation text is received about their jersey number.

Players MUST have both jerseys at every game; and wear the required uniform; no exceptions.

The $20 concession deposit must be paid in addition to the registration fees each season. Families with multiple children must pay, and work, for two of their children. Coaches and board members are exempt from paying the deposit, and working, for one child. If they have more than one child registered with our club, they must pay the second deposit, and work one hour to receive the refund; or opt to forfeit the deposit. Parents need to work in the concession stand for one hour/child for up to two children they have registered with MSC. Parents can sign up to work for one hour during any age game on whichever home game day is convenient. The concession deposit will be refunded at the end of the game day in which the obligation is fulfilled. Players, ages 14 and up, may work the obligated hour for their registration; the parents will receive the refund once the obligation is satisfied. Parents may choose to forgo the deposit if they choose not to work.
